Dr. George James is a cardiologist specializing in preventive cardiology, with a focus on managing hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, and the prevention of stroke and cardiovascular disease. He takes a patient-centered approach to care, ensuring his patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.

In addition to his expertise in diagnosing and treating valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and advanced heart failure, Dr. James is highly skilled in advanced diagnostic imaging, including nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiac CT. He also performs stress testing, diagnostic angiography, pacemaker implants, and right heart catheterizations.

Dr. James completed his cardiology training and a fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Tulane University, where he served as Chief Fellow. He is committed to providing compassionate care and helping his patients achieve optimal heart health.
